I can't believe how fast this 2012 ended and it's already mid-January 2013
time do fly when you do what you love and love what you do.

In the fast few months I was busy selecting and ordering beautiful new fabrics for sewing my new collection of makeup organizers rolls for my Etsy store and in the same time I was and still am working on designing new products for my shop...I can't tell you what the new products are but
I can tell you that Im so excited about it and I can't wait to share them with you!

Saturday Road Trip

We have spent this last Saturday of the year with our Burgman's friends in a wonderful road trip.
we hit the road at 5:30am and got back home around 7:00pm..what an amazing day it was!!
such a great way to celebrate the end of 2012.

New day, New layout

I have missed scrapping so much!!!!
It's been too long since I have scrapped but....now im back!!!! my photoshop is open,  my photos are all organised and ready to be scrapped and I'm having so much fun I have missed it to much.

- Road trip -
We had a wonderful road trip day with the kids, we stopped for coffee and fabrics shopping for my handmade store and it was such a perfect calm day.

From my sewing table: Boys T-shirt

I'm doing my first steps in the clothes sewing world, it's so different from home decor sewing but I got to say that I'm having so much fun!!!! and I'm getting addicted to this really fast!

I have decided so start with an easy project - sewing a T-shirt for my 4 years old boy.
I have used this T-shirt sewing tutorial from the wonderful sewing blog "made"
and got the shirt pattern from Ottobre design magazine

I made some small changes and some additions of my own and this is what I ended up with....
my first T-shirt.

At the Gym

Saturday, 9 am and I'm on my way to the gym with my husband. I got to tell you that I do not really like working out and I'm not much of a gym girl.. I do not even have an appropriate sportswear! but after lossing 5kg in the last four weeks (YAY me!!!) I have to start exercising...Im so lucky that I got my husband to roll me out of bed and drag me to the gym.

Back to School

Summer vacation is over and for some reason it seems to me like this summer past faster than usual.
My kids has returned to school  this monday and like every year I photograph them on the first day, it's so amazing to see how fast they grew and how big they are. my oldest is in ninth grade, my daughter going for the first time to junior high school in the seventh grade and my youngest son starting his first year in kindergarten.

Making cookies

There's nothing kids love more than cookies, especially homemade cookies with a Winnie the Pooh, Hello Kitty and Mickey Mouse characters.
So today after two weeks of waiting I got my pack in the mail contains those sweet cookie cutters with my son favorite characters.

My 3 years old son and I washed our hands and got started working on making some fun cookies together!
Here is the simple recipe that I have used for making the dough :
4 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup oil
4 eggs
Put the mixture into dough, roll out on floured work surface, cut into shapes.
bake at 180 degrees for about 10 minutes

My son got all busy in the hard work I gave him and start catting shapes with our new cutters
he was so excited when he saw Mickey Mouse on the cookie he'd just cut

My son got tired after filled an entire tray and went to rest in front of the TV with Sponge Bob waiting for his cookies and milk and I ended up with four trays of sweet cookies

I really love making  treasury on Etsy, I do not always have the time to do that but its so much fun to search Etsy for new, fun and beautiful handmade. this is what I have found today by searching man and music.
